One Answer:

If you want a child who talks about learning, be a parent who asks about learning. Don’t just ask your child what they did; ask what they learned. Ask specific questions: What are you reading in English? What problems are you working on in math? How is that history project coming? What did your teacher talk about in science? Let your child see that you know what they’re doing in school.
